HypnoShop uses two different hypnotherapists to record their sessions – Barrie St. John and Donna Lee. The majority of the hypnosis downloads have been recorded by Barrie St. John with Donna Lee joining HypnoShop in 2009. Barrie St. John speaks with a Yorkshire accent while Donna Lee has a slight New York accent.
The website itself isn’t bad but at times it feels a little too cluttered (edit: since writing this review HypnoShop have changed the layout of their website and it is much more clean and crisp). It is a case of information overload and when you are presented with so much text it is hard to take any of it in. MP3s from HypnoShop cost £8.99 and CDs are £11.99 (unfortunately no currency calculator is offered) which is more expensive than other hypnosis download sites.
The hypnosis MP3s themselves are good and they include some impressive stereo effects. These sessions are most definitely better when listened to through headphones rather than computer speakers.
HypnoShop offer over 100 hypnosis MP3s and CDs and still occasionally add new sessions to their site. There are a number of different categories of downloads on offer including addictions, health, confidence, personal development and relationships. When you make multiple purchases you are also entitled to a discount, the discount rises depending on just how many sessions you buy.
